Our very own Rick Heidner had the honor of being on the cover of the 20th Anniversary Issue of Quintessential Barrington. Being on the cover also meant being the feature story of the magazine which was fittingly titled Rick Heidner’s American Dream. His story of humble upbringings and rise as a real estate mogul were told through the wonderful words of Lisa Stamos. Rick’s “American Dream” story is one for the ages, while Rick hopes that no one has to go through what he did, the end result is nothing short of inspirational.

The 2025 Wickstrom Concert Series is back at The Arboretum of South Barrington for another year. Some of Chicagoland’s best cover and tribute bands are coming to The Arb’s Main Street Plaza every Wednesday at 6:30 starting June 11th and going all the way through August 13th. With premier dining options and great music all in one place, it’s no surprise these outdoor concerts have become a summer staple for the residents of the Northwest Suburbs with each concert having around 3,000 people flocking to The Arb every Wednesday. Here’s some more information about the upcoming concerts this summer.

Project H.O.P.E. House is a vital resource for those teenagers, adults, veterans, and elderly people who need a place to go for help. Throughout his career, Project H.O.P.E. House Founder Ray Paigentini has seen hundreds of lives, most of whom were saved, supporting the fact that early intervention works. He started Project H.O.P.E. House as a nonprofit to help people and to give back after a long career in Barrington. “I’m here to help and pay it forward to the community that sustained my livelihood and career,” he said.
