In 2012, building on their success in real estate, Rick and Alisa ventured into the gaming industry with the creation of Gold Rush Gaming. This company quickly established itself as the Gold Standard in the Illinois Video Gaming Industry, renowned for its commitment to honesty and integrity—values that are deeply ingrained in the Heidner family ethos. Today, Gold Rush Gaming proudly operates in over 700 locations throughout Illinois.
Entrepreneurship: A Family Tradition
The entrepreneurial spirit of the Heidner family doesn’t stop there. Alongside their children—Nathan, Zack, Collin, and Chase—Rick and Alisa have launched several other successful ventures, including Prairie State Energy and Ricky Rockets Fuel Centers. Their portfolio continues to expand with recent acquisitions such as The Field of Dreams and further developments at The Arboretum of South Barrington.
